Hola! Yeah, been away from the blog for a number of weeks. Here's a sampling of stuff that's been going on ... in no particular order:
House On The Word (my brother, Tunji, is the pastor over there) had the dedication of their new sanctuary building a couple of weeks ago on the 21st of October. Took the two photographs below (my brother & niece; and my nephew - Wande) after the service.
I might have some other decent shots from the service but will have to look through the library. Keep an eye on my Flickr stream.
The training for the Houston Half seems to be coming along nicely. Had my first official race - the 10 for Texas - several weeks ago on the 13th of October. It was a 10 mile run and I had a negative split which apparently is a good thing :-) The hamstring injury from a while back seems to have mended nicely but I'm keeping a wary eye on it. It was a gorgeous morning for the run ... beautiful light at sunrise but since I was running ....
For a while back there, I just wasn't able to find the time to do the photography thing but managed to catch the Ballunar Festival last weekend over on the grounds of the Johnson Space Center and some photos from that are below.
Blessings to you and yours, and hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Grace & peace,
Deji.
